The 2016 JDRF10th Anniversary Night of Hope Gala held on

was a huge success! Over 300 guests attended the event that raised more
than $600,000 for type one diabetes research!
Thank you to the Night of Hope Gala honoree and recipient of the
2016 Living and Giving Award, Jeff Greenacre for his support, courage
and commitment, event Chairs, Karlyn and Peter Sullivan, and the entire
Gala Committee, for their support and dedication in making the event so
Many thanks to everyone who attended the event, donated, and
supported this wonderful evening. And we can’t say enough about the
numerous volunteers who gave countless hours of their time to help
ensure the evening went without a hitch!
We truly appreciate everyone who contributed to the evening – together we will turn type one into type none!
We're the stop at nothing type!
JDRF exists for the millions of children, adults, and families affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) every single day. Their determination to overcome this disease strengthens ours to end it by funding life‐changing T1D research.
T1D is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas loses the ability to produce insulin — a hormone essential to turning food into energy. It strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. It requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood‐glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
Your participation in JDRF events ensures that JDRF can continue funding critical T1D research. With your support, this research will continue to bring us closer to a world without T1D.
